Exercises

These exercises are designed to help students of various ages and in various class levels to practice specific grammar, vocabulary, or spelling topics. The exercises range from tracing letters up to more challenging things like identifying prepositions of geographic location. As with all of my materials, feel free to download, print, use, or modify for your classes.

Name Description
Alphabet Trace Mixed Case [Size=60KB / Type=pdf] Both upper and lowercase letters are displayed in dotted lines for students to practice forming each letter.
Preschool Letter "A" [Size=2MB / Type=pdf] Intended for preschool students, this exercise shows large upper and lowercase letters that can be colored in. Additionally, a variety of lineart pictures are scattered around the page that can also be colored in by the student.
Preschool Color Red [Size=750KB / Type=pdf] This exercise shows a variety of drawings that should be colored red by the student. The goal is for the student to understand that only red should be used.
Adjective Challenge [Size=150KB / Type=pdf] Use this exercise to practice using adjectives in sentences. It includes the use of "articles" and "posessive adjectives" (determiners) as well as the correct adjective order.
Opposites [Size=20KB / Type=pdf] To help students with vocabulary, I use opposites to help them remember what some words mean. This is particularly useful for adjectives but also applies to nouns.
